Treatment for breast cancer (BC) can lead to debilitating symptoms that can reduce outcomes and quality of life (QoL). Symptom surveillance using a remote symptom monitoring (RSM) platform enables the capture and reporting of patient-reported outcomes (PROs) from home. Women with BC used an RSM platform to complete weekly surveys and report any symptoms experienced during treatment.

Article Synopsis
  • Photon management is essential for enhancing the efficiency of perovskite thin film (PTF) solar cells.
  • A new design featuring a nano-cone (NC) based 2D photonic nanostructure has been simulated to improve light trapping through better light scattering and interference in the active layer of solar cells.
  • The NC nanostructured device shows a 20% increase in short-circuit current density, from 15.00 mA/cm to 18.09 mA/cm, suggesting a promising approach for future developments in perovskite solar cell technology.

Osteoglophonic dwarfism, also known as osteoglophonic dysplasia (OD), is an uncommon skeletal dysplasia with an autosomal dominant mode of inheritance, which equally affects boys and girls. OD is saliently featured by craniosynostosis, dysmorphic facial features, impacted mandibular teeth, rhizomelic limb shortening and non-ossifying fibromas habitually at the metaphyseal regions, which usually disappear after skeletal maturity. The long bones in OD are portrayed by this distinguishable 'hollowed-out' appearance with metaphyseal cystic defects that have a natural history of spontaneous resolution.

Objective: This study aims to evaluate the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) brain patterns among hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) babies who underwent post-cooling MRI brain as well as to correlate the post-cooling brain scoring with patient's neurodevelopmental outcome at 2 years.

Subjects And Methods: It was a retrospective cross sectional study carried out at a tertiary university hospital. Record of patients diagnosed with neonatal HIE from 2007 until 2016 who completed 72 h of cooling therapy and had MRI brain within 2 weeks of life were included in this study.

We study light trapping and parasitic losses in hydrogenated amorphous silicon thin film solar cells fabricated by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition on nanostructured back reflectors. The back reflectors are patterned using polystyrene assisted lithography. By using O₂ plasma etching of the polystyrene spheres, we managed to fabricate hexagonal nanostructured back reflectors.
