[Impact of pharmacogenetic testing on the risk of bleedings and excessive hypocoagulation episodes in the use of warfarin: the first meta-analysis of Russian prospective studies].

Aim: To perform a meta-analysis of Russian prospective studies comparing the pharmacogenetic versus conventional warfarin dosing procedures.

Materials And Methods: Publications were sought in the PubMed and eLibrary through September 30, 2013. Seven prospective studies comparing the pharmacogenetic method of warfarin dosing with consideration for CYP2C9, VKORC1, and CYP4F2 gene polymorphisms with the conventional one were selected.

Aim: The study of lipid fraction spectrum in plasma of patients with chronic calculous cholecystitis (CCC) before and after the operative intervention.

Materials And Methods: 28 female patients with CCC. Plasma lipids were measured before the operation, 1 and 5 days after it, at the discharge from hospital and in healthy donors.

[Architectonics of the branch-forming veins passing through the emissaries of the cranial vault].

The structure of the veins forming the frontal, occiputal, mastoidal and sinciputal veins--emissaries was studied on 48 human cadavers by using various methods of silver-staining and a delicate anatomic sectioning and examination of the impregnated material with a binocular magnifying glass. The architectonics of these veins showed the drainage of the venous blood from the soft tissues of the cranial vault and its periosteum to proceed predominantly under normal condtions into the sinuses of the dura mater.
