In biological analysis and medical diagnosis, there is an increasing demand for improving the lower detection limit without deteriorating the quantitativity; however, it is usually challenging. In this study, we utilized a cyclone flow device and established a liquid concentration method. An air cyclone flow induced a liquid cyclone flow in the concentration devices and enhanced the air/liquid interface area, which allowed an effective concentration of liquid from mL to mL at room temperature.

Objective: This study aims to fill the knowledge gap regarding the effects of high frequency facial neuromuscular electrical stimulation (fNMES) on facial aging, using a device equipped with CERTEC (Cell Energy Regeneration Technology) operating between 40 and 190 kHz.

Methods: This prospective split-face study was conducted at Tokyo University Hospital between March and May 2023 with 24 healthy adult women aged 30-59. The intervention group used the fNMES device along with basic skin care on one side of the face, and basic skin care alone on the other side for 8 weeks.

Objectives: To identify and characterize undescribed systemic sclerosis (SSc)-specific autoantibodies targeting nucleolar antigens and to assess their clinical significance.

Methods: We conducted proteome-wide autoantibody screening (PWAS) against serum samples from SSc patients with nucleolar patterned anti-nuclear antibodies (NUC-ANAs) of specific antibodies (Abs) unknown, utilizing wet protein arrays fabricated from in vitro human proteome. Controls included SSc patients with already-known SSc-specific autoantibodies, patients with other connective tissue diseases and healthy subjects.
