China has embarked on society-wide emission reduction initiatives to tackle the growing decarbonization pressures on national economic and social development. The low-carbon consumption pattern transition of the residential sector is viewed as a crucial impetus that will drive society toward sustainable development. However, how such a consumption transition can be facilitated remains unclear.

Background And Purpose: Acylcarnitines (ACars) are important for insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes (T2D). However, their roles in diabetic retinopathy (DR) remain controversial. In this study, we aimed to investigate the association of ACars with DR and their values in DR detection.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFDiabetic retinopathy (DR) is a major diabetes-related disease linked to metabolism. However, the cognition of metabolic pathway alterations in DR remains scarce. We aimed to corroborate alterations of metabolic pathways identified in prior studies and investigate novel metabolic dysregulations that may lead to new prevention and treatment strategies for DR.

We aimed to comprehensively quantify the associations of trehalose and glutamate with DR. This study included 69 pairs of DR and matched type 2 diabetic (T2D) patients.

However, data on PUFAR and diabetic retinopathy (DR) remains scarce. We aimed to thoroughly quantify whether and how PUFAR was related to DR as well as its role in DR detection.

This study aimed to investigate the individual and joint association of whole-blood magnesium (WBMg) and total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), or high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) in YOO.

The crude cell culture extract was first treated with Al2O3 column chromatography and then divided into two parts: fraction 1 and fraction 2. Ten milligrams of baccatin III and 19 mg of paclitaxel were obtained from 100 mg dried fraction 1.

Template-assisted assembly yields an ordered array of FeO QDs within the trenches that separate highly aligned SiNWs, and injected charges are reversibly stored via Fowler-Nordheim tunneling into the QDs. Stored charges shift the transistor threshold voltages, providing the basis for a memory device.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA series of biaryl-based chalcones were designed as a combination of the natural chalcone and biphenyl moieties, and synthesized by two step chemistry involving Knoevenagel reaction and microwave assistant Suzuki coupling. Sulforhodamine B (SRB) assay was performed to evaluate the cell viability inhibitory abilities of these compounds against five cancer cell lines (A549, CNE2, SW480, MCF-7, and HepG2) from different tissues. Their Nuclear Factor-κB (NF-κB) nuclear translocation inhibitory activities were further investigated by High Content Analysis (HCA) based assay.
