When using transformer insulation oil as a liquid dielectric, the oil is easily polluted by the solid particles generated in the operation of the transformer, and these metallic impurity particles have a significant impact on the insulation performance inside the power transformer. The force of the metal particles suspended in the flow insulation oil is multidimensional, which will lead to a change in the movement characteristics of the metal particles. Based on this, this study explored the motion rules of suspended metallic impurity particles in mobile insulating oil in different electric field environments and the influencing factors.

To accurately measure the surface figure of curved mirrors with large radius of curvature (RoC) using stitching interferometry methods, three types of measurement errors are systematically studied, including retrace error, defocusing error within a single subaperture, and stitching angle error among different subapertures. It was found that part of the retrace error caused by the mismatch between the reference wavefront and reflected wavefront has little effect, while the overall retrace error, including the influence of the imperfect optical elements, will cause an error of 1-2 nm RMS within a single subaperture. Defocusing error will enlarge the error due to amplification of optical path error caused by the deviation of the position of the CCD.

BC/Pd multilayers with small d-spacing can easily degrade in the air, and the exact degradation process is not clear. In this work, we studied the chemical modification of BC films and BC/Pd double layers stored in four different environments: a dry nitrogen environment, the atmosphere, a dry oxygen-rich environment, and a wet nitrogen environment. The XANES spectra of the BC/Pd layers placed in a dry oxygen-rich environment showed the most significant decrease in the σ* states of the B-C bonds and an increase in the π* states of the B-O bonds compared with the other samples.

The stability of Cr/C multilayer during irradiation or thermal annealing was investigated using grazing incidence X-ray reflectivity measurement, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, small-angle X-ray scattering analysis, and soft X-ray reflectivity measurement. One sample was irradiated with a white beam of synchrotron radiation and five other samples were annealed at various temperatures. The optimized design of multilayer-coated blazed gratings (MLBG) for high-flux tender X-ray monochromators was systematically studied by numerical simulations. The resulting correlation between the multilayer d-spacing and grating blaze angle significantly deviated from the one predicted by conventional equations. Ru/BC multilayer mirrors are used for hard X-ray monochromators with moderate spectral resolution and high integral flux. To overcome the problem of large compressive stress inherent in Ru/BC multilayers, a reactive sputtering technique using a mixture working gas of argon and nitrogen with different partial pressures was tested, and the fabricated multilayers had a period of 3 nm. The intrinsic stress was essentially reduced after nitridation and relaxed to zero value at approximately 15% partial pressure of nitrogen in the working gas.

Reactive sputtering with a mixture of argon and nitrogen (N partial pressure of 4%, 8%, and 15%) as the working gas is used to develop the high reflectance Pd/BC multilayers for soft X-ray region application. Compared to the pure Ar fabricated sample, the interface roughness of the nitridated multilayer is slightly increased while the compressive stress is essentially relaxed from -623 MPa (pure Ar) to -85 MPa (15% N).
