Recently, 7-diethylamino-4-methylcoumarin (DEAMC) has been identified as a potent antiandrogenic compound in the surface water; however, little is known about the antiandrogenic potentials of other synthetic coumarins and their occurrence in the aquatic ecosystem. In this study, for the first time, we observed that 7-dimethylamino-4-methylcoumarin (DAMC) elicited androgen receptor (AR) antagonistic activity with a 50% inhibitory concentration (IC) of 1.46 µM, which is 14.

Achieving superior photomineralization of pollutants relies on a rational design of a dual S-scheme with a robust internal electric field (IEF). In this study, to tackle the low mineralization rate in type-II In O /In S (IO/IS) systems, an organic-inorganic dual S-scheme In O /PDI/In S (IO/PDI/IS) nanostructured photocatalyst is synthesized via a method combining solvent-induced self-assembly and electrostatic forces. Due to the unique energy band position and strong IEF, the photoinduced defect-transit dual S-scheme IO/PDI/IS facilitates the degradation of lignin and antibiotics.

The introduction of metal vacancies into n-type semiconductors could efficiently construct intimate contact interface p-n homojunctions to accelerate the separation of photogenerated carriers. In this work, a cationic surfactant occupancy method was developed to synthesize an indium-vacancy ()-enriched p-n amorphous/crystal homojunction of indium sulfide (A/C-IS) for sodium lignosulfonate (SL) degradation. The amount of in the A/C-IS could be regulated by varying the content of added cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB).

In order to detect the incipient fault of rolling bearings and to effectively identify fault characteristics, based on amplitude-aware permutation entropy (), an enhanced method named hierarchical amplitude-aware permutation entropy () is proposed in this paper to solve complex time series in a new dynamic change analysis. Firstly, hierarchical analysis and are combined to excavate multilevel fault information, both low-frequency and high-frequency components of the abnormal bearing vibration signal. Secondly, from the experimental analysis, it is found that is sensitive to the early failure of rolling bearings, which makes it suitable to evaluate the performance degradation of a bearing in its run-to-failure life cycle.

The photoreforming of lignocellulose is a novel method to produce clean and sustainable H energy. However, the catalytic systems usually show low activity under ultraviolet light; thus, this reaction is very limited at present. Visible light-responsive metal-free two-dimensional graphite-phased carbon nitride (g-CN) is a good candidate for photocatalytic hydrogen production, but its activity is hindered by a bulky architecture.

The identification accuracy of dynamic characteristics coefficients is difficult to guarantee because of the errors of the measurement system itself. A novel dynamic calibration method of measurement system for dynamic characteristics coefficients is proposed in this paper to eliminate the errors of the measurement system itself. Compared with the calibration method of suspension quality, this novel calibration method is different because the verification device is a spring-mass system, which can simulate the dynamic characteristics of sliding bearing.
