[Clinical and laboratory rationale for galvanophoresis of hydroxide copper-calcium by root canals treatment].

Double blind study presents clinical and laboratory estimation of root canal system (RC) cleaning by endodontic treatment of apical periodontitis by means of galvanophoresis of hydroxide copper-calcium (GP HCC). In 60 patients the amount and composition of RC fluid from incisors and canines by GP HCC were estimated within 2 weeks with three different galvano-pair and the efficiency of RC decontamination were compared by standard report irrigation and GP HCC. The intensity of electroosmotic allocation of RC liquid by GP HCC is gradually increased at 4-5 day, and then slowly reduced at 10-12 day.

[Impairment of oral cavity acid-base balance in patients with concomitant somatic diseases].

Acid-basic balance (ABB) is the important element that supports local homeostasis in oral cavity (OC). However dentists usually do not take into account ABB in OC thus reducing the efficiency of dental care and treatment of mucous membrane disorders in these patients. The purpose of the research was to estimate the ABB values in OC in patients having chronic general somatic diseases.

[Electronic microscopy in endodontic electrophoresis efficiency assessment].

The reason for insufficient efficiency of endodontic treatments is a complex structure of root canals system and presence of dentine tubules (DT) in a root dentine. For sterilization and obturation of all spaces in a root canal system the method of cupper-calcium hydroxide (CCH) electrophoresis was developed. The authors proposed more effective method of CCH galvanophoresis by means of galvanic pins based on electrophoresis principles but allowing deep impregnation of the root dentine by nanoparticles of CCH.

Determination of the strange-quark density of the proton from ATLAS measurements of the W→ℓν and Z→ℓℓ cross sections.

A QCD analysis is reported of ATLAS data on inclusive W(±) and Z boson production in pp collisions at the LHC, jointly with ep deep-inelastic scattering data from HERA. The ATLAS data exhibit sensitivity to the light quark sea composition and magnitude at Bjorken x∼0.01.

In addition to requiring exactly one lepton, large missing transverse momentum, and at least six jets, the invariant mass of nearby jet pairs is used to identify high transverse momentum W bosons. In order to improve radicalism of emergency surgical interventions an appropriate method of total mesocolonectomy and D3-lymph node dissection in the medial-lateral direction and the principle of "no-touch technique" were used in 14 patients. This technique is safe, effective, does not prolong the duration of operation and postoperative period, is not followed by increased number of complications and lethality.
