The functional tea CFT-1 has been introduced into China as a nutraceutical beverage according to the "Healthy China" national project. The effects on human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells remain unclear and were investigated with the functional tea extract (purity > 98%). The morphological changes in the cells were observed with microscopes.

This paper incorporates the RFBNet (a coordinate attention mechanism) and the SIOU loss function into the YOLOv5 algorithm to address this issue. The result is developing the model for aeroplane and undercarriage detection.

To resolve this issue, firstly, based on the traditional EMAT, a horizontal polarization periodic permanent magnet electromagnetic acoustic transducer (HP-PPM-EMAT) was proposed. A 2-D finite element model was then developed to compare magnetic flux density, Lorentz force, and signal strength between the traditional EMAT and the HP-PPM-EMAT.

In this investigation, we formulated an analytical and quantification approach employing reversed-phase ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) methodology coupled with diode-array detection (DAD) to precisely quantify 20 principal constituents within 121 tea samples spanning 6 distinct variants. The constituents include alkaloids, catechins, flavonols, and phenolic acids.

In the presented work, an automatic monitoring approach of broken wires in PCCP using fiber-optic distributed acoustic sensors (DAS) is investigated. The study designs a 1:1 prototype wire break monitoring experiment using a DN4000 mm PCCP buried underground in a simulated test environment.

To overcome this shortcoming, a butterfly coil EMAT was developed and optimized by numerical simulation based on a 2-D finite element model. First, the effect of the structural parameters of the butterfly coil EMAT was investigated by orthogonal test theory.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAim: Reliable and valid predictors of malnutrition in patients with cirrhosis remain scarce, especially easily accessible blood indicators. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the validity of the sarcopenia index (serum creatinine/serum cystatin C × 100) as a tool in assessing the nutritional status of patients with cirrhosis.
Methods: This prospective cohort study included 109 patients with cirrhosis who were hospitalised in Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University from August 2020 to June 2021.
Objectives: To investigate the relationship among baseline health-related quality of life (HRQoL), early changes in HRQoL from baseline to completion of the first cycle of chemotherapy, and prognosis in patients with advanced lung cancer.
Design: This was a prospective, observational study.
Setting: The study was conducted in a national cancer centre in South China.
The energy conversion of electromagnetic acoustic transducers (EMATs) is typically lower, which seriously restricts the application of EMATs in the field of non-destructive testing and evaluation. In this work, parameters of surface wave EMATs, including structural parameters and electrical parameters, are investigated using the orthogonal test method to improve the transducer's energy conversion efficiency. Based on the established finite element 2-D model of EMATs, the amplitude of the displacement components at the observation point of a plate is the optimization objective to be maximized with five parameters pertaining to the magnets, meander-line coils, and excitation signal as design variables.

However, limited attention has been given to PROs in China due to a lack of research on the agreement between doctors' and patients' reports of adverse events. This study aims to reveal the perception gap of chemotherapy-induced adverse events between doctors and cancer patients in China.

The BLDCM system contains parameter perturbation, chaotic behavior, and uncertainty. With the help of radial basis function (RBF) neural network to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions, the adaptive law is established to overcome uncertainty of the control gain.

The distribution and diversity of SRBSDV have not been investigated in the main rice and maize growing areas in China. In this study, the distribution of SRBSDV in China was determined by using reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).
