Morin Regulates M1/M2 Microglial Polarization via NF-κB p65 to Alleviate Vincristine-Induced Neuropathic Pain.

Background: Morin can alleviate vincristine-induced neuropathic pain via inhibiting neuroinflammation. Microglial cells play an important role in initiating and maintenance of pain and neuroinflammation. It remains unclear whether morin exerts antinociceptive properties through the regulation of microglial cells.

The influence of sleep disorders on perioperative neurocognitive disorders among the elderly: A narrative review.

This review comprehensively assesses the epidemiology, interaction, and impact on patient outcomes of perioperative sleep disorders (SD) and perioperative neurocognitive disorders (PND) in the elderly. The incidence of SD and PND during the perioperative period in older adults is alarmingly high, with SD significantly contributing to the occurrence of postoperative delirium. However, the clinical evidence linking SD to PND remains insufficient, despite substantial preclinical data.

Designing glucose utilization "highway" for recombinant biosynthesis.

cAMP receptor protein (CRP) is known as a global regulatory factor mainly mediating carbon source catabolism. Herein, we successfully engineered CRP to develop microbial chassis cells with improved recombinant biosynthetic capability in minimal medium with glucose as single carbon source. The obtained best-performing cAMP-independent CRP mutant conferred both faster cell growth and a 133-fold improvement in expression level of lac promoter in presence of 2% glucose, compared with strain under regulation of CRP.

Spatiotemporal variations of vegetation and its determinants in the National Key Ecological Function Area on Loess Plateau between 2000 and 2015.

China defined 25 National Key Ecological Function Areas in 2010 and adopted various measures to support ecosystem restoration in these areas. During the process of environment policymaking, it is important to observe the variation of vegetation and its driving factors. In this paper, we chose the National Key Ecological Function Area (NKEFA) on Loess Plateau as the study area.

[The change of pulmonary surfactant protein of rat following silica exposure].

Objective: To investigate the change of lung surfactant protein (SP) A,B,C,D of rats following silica dust exposure in order to provide the evidences for the early diagnosis indices or therapy of silicosis.

Methods: 60 male SD rats were randomly divided into silica group, and corresponding controls group. Rats in silica group were administrated 1 ml silica solution by intratracheal instillation at dose of 50 mg/ml.
