The impact of companies disclosing ESG reports in multiple languages on the enthusiasm of foreign investors for holding shares.

We collect Chinese A-share listed companies from 2013 to 2022 as samples and use the multi-period difference-in-difference model (DID) to study the impact of multilingual ESG report disclosure on the enthusiasm of foreign investors. We find that Chinese companies disclose ESG reports in both Chinese and English stimulate the enthusiasm of foreign investors to hold shares. The main manifestations are the expansion of the company's foreign shareholding quota and the increase in the number of shareholders.

Some popular ICA algorithms such as Infomax or FastICA generate different results after repeated analysis from the same data volume, which is generally acknowledged as a drawback for ICA approaches.

In this work, we perform a functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) study in 21 healthy subjects under three different conditions: (1) movement of right ankle alone; (2) movement and simultaneous stimulation of the agonist muscle; or (3) movement and simultaneous stimulation of a control area.

The insula is believed to be associated with touch-evoked effects. In this work, functional MRI was applied to investigate the network model of insula function when 20 normal subjects received tactile stimulation over segregated areas. Data analysis was performed with SPM8 and Conn toolbox.

Within-limb somatotopic organization in human SI and parietal operculum for the leg: an fMRI study.

Somatotopic organizations in human somatosensory cortex (SI and SII) for scattered portions of the leg have not been systematically observed with functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). In this research we compared functional representations in the contralateral SI and bilateral parietal operculum (that contained subregions OP1, 3-4 of SII and OP2) of four acupoints in right leg in proximal-distal and medial-lateral arrangement. The results were: (1) somatotopy of SI demonstrated a lateral-to-medial and inferior-to-superior pattern when acupoints were shifting from proximal to distal or from medial to lateral; (2) the contralateral OP1 also showed a clear somatotopic organization for the four separated leg portions, and the ipsilateral OP1 showed a similar pattern to the contralateral OP1, thus arrangements of responses in the two areas were mirror-symmetric against y-axis; (3) the contralateral OP2 showed a somatotopic organization when acupoints shifting from proximal to distal, while the contralateral OP3 presented a trend of somatotopy opposite to that of the contralateral OP1.
