This study investigated whether the children of parents with physical disabilities endured higher levels of peer victimization. Particularly, this study focused on the mediating effects of peer victimization in the relationships between parental disability and both the emotional symptoms and prosocial behaviors exhibited by their children. Compensatory Base Changes and Varying Phylogenetic Effects on Angiosperm ITS2 Genetic Distances.

A compensatory base change (CBC) that coevolves in the secondary structure of ribosomal internal transcribed spacer 2 (ITS2) influences the estimation of genetic distance and thus challenges the phylogenetic use of this most popular genetic marker. To date, however, the CBC effect on ITS2 genetic distance is still unclear. Despite a large population of registered people with drug addiction, child protection in substance-abusing families is a neglected issue in China. The present study aims to investigate the association between parents' childhood abuse history and the risk of abusing their own children in substance-abusing Chinese families and also to examine the mediating role of detachment and moderating role of social support during the intergenerational transmission of abuse.
