is one of the most destructive quarantine pests, causing irreversible damage to pine trees. However, the unexpected identification of pine wilt disease in Northern China indicates that can survive under low temperatures. In this study, we analyzed the reproductivity variations among 18 different isolates, and SC13 was identified to have excellent low temperature resistance.

Incidence of liver cancer as one of the most common cancers worldwide and become the significant contributor for the mortality among cancer patients. The disease burden, risk factors, and trends in incidence and mortality of liver cancer globally was described subsequently estimated the projections of liver cancer incidence or mortality by 2040. Data regarding age-standardized incidence and mortality rates for liver cancer was obtained from multiple databases, including GLOBOCAN 2020, CI5 volumes I-XI, WHO mortality database, and Global Burden of Disease (GBD)-2019.

Article Synopsis
  • The study analyzes global disparities in the incidence and mortality rates of gynecological cancers (GCs) using data from GLOBOCAN 2022, highlighting a significant impact on women’s health and healthcare systems worldwide.
  • In 2022, there were approximately 1.47 million new cases and 680,000 deaths from GCs globally, with the highest incidence and mortality rates in Eastern Africa, linked to factors like HIV and HPV.
  • Projections for 2050 indicate that if current trends continue, the burden of GCs will worsen, especially in regions with lower Human Development Index (HDI) ratings, underscoring the need for targeted health interventions.

Copper is an important metal micronutrient, required for the balanced growth and normal physiological functions of human organism. Copper-related toxicity and dysbalanced metabolism were associated with the disruption of intracellular respiration and the development of various diseases, including cancer. Notably, copper-induced cell death was defined as cuproptosis which was also observed in malignant cells, representing an attractive anti-cancer instrument.

Small non-coding RNAs (microRNA, miR), powerful epigenetic regulators, were found involved in the regulation of most biological functions via post-translational inhibition of protein expression. Increased expression of pro-oncogenic miRs (known as miR cancer biomarkers) and inhibition of pro-apoptotic miR expression have been demonstrated in different tumors. The recently identified miR-183 was found implicated in gastrointestinal tumor metabolism regulation.

Objective: To evaluate the current status of trial registration on the Chinese Clinical Trial Registry (ChiCTR).

Design: In this descriptive study, a multi-dimensional grouping analysis was conducted to estimate trends in the annual trial registration, geographical distribution, sources of funding, targeted diseases, and trial subtypes.

Setting: We have analyzed all clinical trial records (over 30,000) registered on the Chinese Clinical Trial Registry (ChiCTR) from 2007 to 2020 executed in China.

Introduction: Pine wilt disease () was recently detected in Liaoning Province, which was previously considered an unfavourable area for due to its low temperatures. This study aims to compare the reproductivity and genetic variations of isolates from Liaoning Province and other parts of China to explore their phenotypic and genomic differences.

Methods: The samples from Liaoning, Anhui, Hubei, Henan, Zhejiang and Jiangsu were isolated and purified to obtain the strains.

is considered the most dangerous quarantine pest in China. It causes enormous economic and ecological losses in many countries from Asia and Europe. The glycoside hydrolase 45 gene family has been demonstrated in early studies to contribute to the cell wall degradation ability of during its infection.
