The incidence and mortality rates of lung cancer have remained high for several decades, necessitating the discovery of new drugs and the development of effective treatment strategies. This study identified matairesinoside (MTS) as a potent inhibitor of TMEM16A, a novel drug target for lung cancer. Molecular simulation combined with site-directed mutagenesis experiments confirmed the key binding sites of MTS and TMEM16A.

This study was aimed to investigate the effect of COX-2 inhibitor celecoxib on proliferation, apoptosis of human acute myeloid leukemia cell line HL-60 and its mechanism. HL-60 cells were cultured with different concentrations of celecoxib for 24 h. Cell proliferation was analyzed by CCK-8 assay, cell apoptosis and cell cycle distribution were detected by flow cytometry.
