Nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) are two essential macronutrients required in agricultural production. The major share of this production relies on chemical fertilizer that requires energy and relies on limited resources (P). Since these nutrients are lost to the environment, there is a need to shift from this linear urban metabolism to a circular metabolism in which N and P from domestic waste and wastewater are reused in agriculture.

Background: Correction of tetralogy of Fallot often leads to pulmonary regurgitation, sometimes warranting pulmonary valve replacement, for which indications and timing to achieve optimal results are not yet clear. This retrospective study describes follow-up and reinterventions in our tetralogy of Fallot population.

Methods: Review of all consecutive patients operated on for tetralogy of Fallot between 1977 and 2000 was conducted.

Background: Correction of tetralogy of Fallot (ToF) often leads to pulmonary regurgitation, sometimes warranting pulmonary valve replacement (PVR), for which the indications and timing to achieve optimal results are not yet clear. This retrospective study describes follow-up and reinterventions in our ToF population.

Methods: Review of all consecutive patients operated for ToF between 1977 and 2000.
