Fe-based metal-organic frameworks (Fe-MOFs) have been used to catalyze the degradation of organic pollutants; however, the underlying mechanism remains unclear. In this study, we prepared Fe-MOF catalysts featuring a three-dimensional ordered structure and active Fe-N coordination centers using self-designed polypyrazole compounds as ligands. Because the coordination centers are similar to the classical single-atom Fe-N active neutral structure, Fe-MOFs exhibit excellent performance in activating hydrogen peroxide (HO) and peroxymonosulfate (PMS) for the degradation of antibiotics.

In field of electrochemistry, there has been a growing interest in the potential applications of proton-conducting metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). Therefore, how to design and synthesize MOFs with high proton conductivity is considered crucial. In this study, two examples of nitro-containing Cd-based MOFs, MOF-1 {[Cd(TIPE)(NO)Cl(HO)] ⋅ 17HO} and MOF-2 {[Cd(TIPE)(nip)] ⋅ 10HO} (TIPE=1,1,2,2-tetrakis(4-(1H-imidazole-1-yl)phenyl)ethene, Hnip=5-Nitroisophthalic Acid), had been successfully designed and synthesized, and their proton-conducting properties were thoroughly investigated.

Herein, a long rod-shaped gallium composite multifunctional material (CP-Au-PEG-FA@BSA@IR780) based on chemotherapy therapy (CT), photothermal therapy (PTT) and photodynamic therapy (PDT) is constructed to increase reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels and Au NP release. CP-Au-PEG-FA@BSA@IR780 has fluorescence localization characteristics and can combine with CT-DNA to cause cancer cell apoptosis.

To address the specific damage types predominant in desert environments, we executed simulations of ultraviolet irradiation and rainfall phenomena on mechanical sand barriers in sandy areas and also inspected the variations in chemical properties during accelerated aging processes. The findings unequivocally demonstrate that: (1) The synergistic impact of ultraviolet irradiation and water accelerated the deformation and fracturing of the sand barriers, thereby causing a partial degradation of its chemical properties and conspicuous lignin oxidation; (2) The fissure of the sand barrier deepened, resulting in structural alterations.

Purpose: As the major active ingredient of Polygonatum sibriricum Red., polysaccharide of Polygonati Rhizome (PSP) has been reported to possess various pharmacological activities, especially for the treatment of chronic disorders in the elderly. This study evaluated the effect of PSP on the activities of major cytochrome P450 enzymes (CYP450) isoforms, aiming to provide theoretical reference for its co-prescription with other drugs and prevent the risk of adverse drug-drug interaction.

sand barriers degrade under sunlight exposure, resulting in diminished protective performance and shortened service life in desertification control. To address the unresolved issue of photoinduced damage and degradation in sand barriers, we conducted simulations to assess the accelerated damage effect of ultraviolet (UV) rays during solar exposure of sand barriers. Our analysis focused on elucidating the mechanism of UV irradiation in sand barriers by examining the structural and material property changes that occur during the degradation process.

In this paper, we found that lignans , and , curcuminoids exhibited significant inhibitory potential against PL. The structure-activity relationship (SAR) indicated that benzo-1, 3-dioxole group in the construction of lignans is essential to inhibitory effects against PL, while double bonds at C-7/C-2 position and 4-hydroxyphenyl moiety in the structure of curcuminoids are beneficial for PL inhibition.

Most existing SSL methods utilize pseudo-labeling to propagate useful supervised information for training unlabeled data. However, these methods ignore learning temporal representations, making it challenging to obtain a well-separable feature space for modeling explicit class boundaries.

However, it remains unclear whether this assembly is pathogen-specific and how regulatory pathways are coordinated in multi-pathogens. In order to investigate the effects of infection with (Cg treatment) and (Fp treatment) on walnut leaf endophytic microbiome in their assembly, co-occurrence pattern, and on comprehensive chemical function of the internal environment of leaf, an interaction system of the walnut-pathogenic fungi was constructed using seed embryo tissue culture technology.

The Neuroform Atlas Stent™ (NAS, available from Stryker Neurovascular, Fremont, California) represents the latest generation of intracranial stents with improved stent delivery system capabilities.
Objective: This study aims to investigate the safety, feasibility and efficacy exhibited by NAS in treating unruptured aneurysms at the MCA bifurcation.
A series of cyclometalated Ir(III) complexes with morpholine and piperazine groups are designed as dual photosensitizers and photothermal agents for more efficient antitumor phototherapy via infrared low-power laser. Their ground and excited state properties, as well as the structural effect on their photophysical and biological properties, are investigated by spectroscopic, electrochemical, and quantum chemical theoretical calculations. They target mitochondria in human melanoma tumor cells and trigger apoptosis related to mitochondrial dysfunction upon irradiation.

With the increasing popularity of smart devices, users can control their mobile phones, TVs, cars, and smart furniture by using voice assistants, but voice assistants are susceptible to intrusion by outsider speakers or playback attacks. In order to address this security issue, a millimeter-wave radar-based voice security authentication system is proposed in this paper. First, the speaker's fine-grained vocal cord vibration signal is extracted by eliminating static object clutter and motion effects; second, the weighted Mel Frequency Cepstrum Coefficients (MFCCs) are obtained as biometric features; and finally, text-independent security authentication is performed by the WMHS (Weighted MFCCs and Hog-based SVM) method.

As an important means of environmental reconnaissance and regional security protection, sound target detection (STD) has been widely studied in the field of machine learning for a long time. Considering the shortcomings of the robustness and generalization performance of existing methods based on machine learning, we proposed a target detection method by an auditory brain-computer interface (BCI). We designed the experimental paradigm according to the actual application scenarios of STD, recorded the changes in Electroencephalogram (EEG) signals during the process of detecting target sound, and further extracted the features used to decode EEG signals through the analysis of neural representations, including Event-Related Potential (ERP) and Event-Related Spectral Perturbation (ERSP).
