Connecting Hippo Pathway and Cytoophidia in Posterior Follicle Cells.

CTP synthase (CTPS), the rate-limiting enzyme in the de novo synthesis of CTP, assembles into a filamentous structure termed the cytoophidium. The Hippo pathway regulates cell proliferation and apoptosis. The relationship of the nucleotide metabolism with the Hippo pathway is little known.
