Background: Timely detection of modifiable risk factors for postoperative pulmonary complications (PPCs) could inform ventilation strategies that attenuate lung injury. We sought to develop, validate, and internally test machine learning models that use intraoperative respiratory features to predict PPCs.
Methods: We analysed perioperative data from a cohort comprising patients aged 65 yr and older at an academic medical centre from 2019 to 2023.
Background: Little is known about the recent use of neuromuscular blocking agents (NMBAs) and monitoring in China. This paper presents the results of a nationwide survey conducted to obtain information regarding the current management of NMBAs in China.
Methods: A questionnaire was sent to Chinese anesthesiologists inviting them to participate in the study.
Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) is among the most disabling and frustrating problems for cancer survivors. The neurotoxicity caused by cisplatin varies greatly among patients, and few predictors of appearance, duration of symptoms, susceptibility, or severity are available. A deeper understanding of the mechanisms underlying individual differences in status, severity, or sensitivity in response to cisplatin treatment is therefore required.

We mainly used Weighted correlation network analysis, protein-protein interaction network and pivot analysis to identify hub modules, bridge regulators, bridge genes and hub-driving genes in both diseases and carried out verifying using external datasets. We identified eight bridge regulators, 19 key molecules in the COPD model and ten key molecules in the LUAD model.

Methods: A total of 84 cases of CD were randomly assigned to either a ropivacaine group (R group) or ropivacaine + dexamethasone group (RD group) in this double-blind trial. The pain site and pain degree at rest and during activity at 2 h, 6 h, 10 h, 12 h, 14 h, 16 h, 20 h, and 24 h after maternal surgery were recorded.
Background And Objective: Periodontitis is a multifactorial disease that can lead to the progressive destruction of dental support tissue. However, the detailed mechanisms and specific biomarkers involved in periodontitis remain to be further studied. Recently, long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been found to play a more important role than other types of RNAs.
