Reduced immunosuppression during BKV-DNAemia has been associated with T-cell mediated rejection (TCMR), de novo donor-specific antibodies (DSA) and antibody-mediated rejection (ABMR). Intravenous immunoglobulins (IVIG) may reduce alloimmunity.
