Objective: To determine the fat content of myxoid liposarcomas (MLS) on MRI and to identify any association between lipid content and survival.
Materials And Methods: The fat percentage of MLS diagnosed between January 2006 and December 2016 at a single institution was assessed by two radiologists on preoperative MR images. A Cox proportional hazard model was used to determine any association between tumor fat percentage and survival time.

The current CF therapy relies on dornase α, hypertonic saline, and antibiotics and does not address the high neutrophil elastase (NE) activity observed in the lung and sputum of CF patients. Our hypothesis is that variants of heparin, which potently inhibit NE but are not anticoagulant, would help restore the protease-antiprotease balance in CF.

In two- and three-dimensional cell culture models, forced expression of HRAS in non-malignant ER-negative breast epithelial cells with or without a PIK3CA somatic knock-in results in transformation and the acquisition of the cardinal features of adenomyoepitheliomas, including the expression of myoepithelial markers, a reduction in E-cadherin expression, and an increase in AKT signaling.
