Vermicompost (VC) produced by African nightcrawler earthworms () is a natural fertilizer with a rich microbial community. PSU-P1 is an effective antagonistic microorganism with multifaceted activity mechanisms. This research aimed to develop -bioenriched vermicompost (TBVC) to promote plant growth and induce the defense response in the Thai rice variety "Chor Khing".

The nanoparticles based drug delivery and treatment related research has been increased significantly in the recent years. Hence, the antibacterial, antifungal, and antioxidant activity potential of pre synthesized and characterized Titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO NPs) were investigated in this study through respective standard protocols. Interestingly, the obtained results revealed that TiO NPs have concentration dependent antibacterial activity against bacterial pathogens such as E.

The purpose of this study was to find the most cadmium (Cd) tolerant and remediated bacteria isolate from KNO processing unit contaminated soil. One isolate out of 19 isolates possessed excellent Cd tolerance than others, which was recognized as Enterobacter hormaechei SFC3 through molecular characterization (16S rRNA sequencing). The identified E.

The ability of cobalt nanoparticles (CoNPs) to absorb electromagnetic waves led to their use as potential biomedical agents in recent years. The properties of magnetic fluid containing cobalt nanoparticles are extraordinary. Hence, this research was designed to evaluate the Co(NO) reducing the potential of orange peel aqueous extract and assessed their antimicrobial and antioxidant activities.

The current study investigated the plant growth promoting (PGP) characteristics of multi-metal-tolerant Bacillus cereus and their positive effect on the physiology, biomolecule substance, and phytoremediation ability of Chrysopogon zizanioides in metal-contaminated soil. The test soil sample was detrimentally contaminated by metals including Cd (31 mg kg), Zn (7696 mg kg), Pb (326 mg kg), Mn (2519 mg kg) and Cr (302 mg kg) that exceeded Indian standards. The multi-metal-tolerant B.

Sclerotium rot causes damping-off and stem rot in seedlings and mature mungbeans, which negatively impacts cultivation. The use of a rhizobacterium to control soil-borne diseases is an alternative method to the excess use of synthetic fungicides; therefore, this study aims to screen rhizosphere actinobacteria with fungicidal activities against , the pathogen that causes sclerotium rot in mungbeans. Primary screening showed that the sp.

The biosynthesis of AgNPs using a methanolic extract of Naringi crenulata is described in this study. UV-visible spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), particle size analyzer (PSA), scanning electron microscope (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) were used to characterize the synthesized AgNPs. The UV-visible spectrum revealed a sharp peak at 420 nm, which represents silver's strong Plasmon resonance.

We detected tobacco mosaic virus (TMV), a member of the genus and one of the most significant plant-infecting viruses, for the first time in a chrysanthemum in Thailand using reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). The TMV-infected chrysanthemum leaves exhibited mosaic symptoms. We conducted a sequence analysis of the coat protein () gene and found that the TMV detected in the chrysanthemum had 98% identity with other TMV isolates in GenBank.

Aim of this research was to treat the organics enriched Paper and Pulp Industry (PPI) effluents using multi-metal tolerant predominant indigenous bacterial species. In addition, assessing the potential of treated bacterial biomass as a single cell protein (SCP). The multi-metal tolerant Streptomyces tuirus OS1 was enumerated from the Paper and Pulp Industry (PPI) effluents was identified through standard molecular characterization.

This sustainable approach was performed to evaluate the bioremediation potential of cyanide resistant bacterial species on sago industry effluents and assess the possibility of using the yielded biomass as single cell protein (SCP). The predominant cyanide tolerant bacterium enumerated from muddy soil was identified as Streptomyces tritici D5 through 16S rRNA sequencing. The identified S.

This research was performed to evaluate the possibilities of reducing the physicochemical properties of polluted pond water situated around the magnesite mine tailing through indigenous metal tolerant fungi. The physicochemical analysis results revealed that most of the physicochemical properties of pond water sample were crossing the permissible limits. From the muddy pond soil sample, Aspergillus flavus DDN was identified (through molecular characterization) as predominant metal tolerant fungal strain and it showed resistance to Cr(VI), Pb(II), Zn(II), Cd(II), and Mg(IV) up to 1000 μg mL concentrations.

Soil microorganisms are well studied for their beneficial effects on plant growth and their impact on biocontrol agents. The production of volatile antifungal compounds emitted from soil fungi is considered to be an effective ability that can be applied in biofumigants in the control of plant diseases. A soil fungus, TSU1, was isolated from flamingo flower cultivated soil and identified on the basis of the morphology and molecular analysis of the internal transcribed spacer (ITS), , and genes.
