Plateau-dominated hard carbon with a high rate of performance is challenging to obtain, and the in-depth mechanism of pore structure on the diffusion of sodium ions remains unclear. In this study, a facile liquid-phase molecular reconstruction strategy is proposed to regulate the orientation of the β-cyclodextrin molecules and prepare spherical hard carbon with continuous and ordered pore channels. Through detailed characterization, this approach is confirmed to optimize the accumulation of Na in the dispersion region, thus improving the plateau kinetics and enhancing the utilization of closed pores.

Hydrogel coatings impart superior surface properties to materials, but their application on large and complicated substrates is hindered by two challenges: limited wetting conditions and intricate curing processes. To overcome the challenges, lyophilized adhesive hydrogel powders (LAHPs) are developed, which consist of poly(acrylic acid-co-3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate) crosslinked with chitosan. These powders are electrostatic sprayed onto substrates to address wetting issues and rehydrated to form bulk hydrogel coatings to circumvent curing challenges.

We investigate synchronization behaviors of a Kuramoto oscillator network with a two-dimensional square-lattice configuration. We show that the oscillator network can reach a phase-locking vortex synchronized state in the long time limit starting from random initial oscillator phases sampled according to the von Mises distribution characterized by a zero mean and a finite concentration parameter. We further reveal that the stability of the vortex synchronized state is sensitive to the presence of local node defects, in contrast to the usual knowledge that oscillator networks should exhibit robustness against local perturbations.

Background: Recent advances in deep learning have sparked new research interests in dynamic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) reconstruction. However, existing deep learning-based approaches suffer from insufficient reconstruction efficiency and accuracy due to the lack of time correlation modeling during the reconstruction procedure.

Purpose: Inappropriate tensor processing steps and deep learning models may lead to not only a lack of modeling in the time dimension but also an increase in the overall size of the network.

The rising incidence of infections caused by multidrug-resistant bacteria highlights the urgent need for innovative bacterial eradication strategies. Metal ions, such as Zn and Co, have bactericidal effects by disrupting bacterial cell membranes and interfering with essential cellular processes. This has led to increased attention toward metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) as potential nonantibiotic bactericidal agents.
