Although traditional therapy and targeted cartilage cell therapy have made significant progress in the treatment of OA and cartilage regeneration, there are still many problems. Mesenchymal stem cells from various tissues are the most studied cell type and have been used in preclinical and clinical studies of OA, because they are more widely available, have a greater capacity for in expansion, and have anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory properties compared to autologous chondrocytes.

However, the epidemic characteristics of LE-MSDs among occupational populations in China are unknown.
What Is Added By This Report?: This report finds that the LE-MSDs prevalence rate among key occupational groups in China is 17.
Objective: To evaluate whether patients with tension-type headache (TTH) exhibit abnormal brain functional connectivity compared to healthy controls.
Background: TTH is one of the most prevalent headache disorders throughout the world. The present study delves into brain functional connectivity in patients with TTH to enhance the understanding of its underlying pathophysiology.
Metal halide perovskites (MHPs) have emerged as the most promising materials due to superior optoelectronic properties and great applications spanning from photovoltaics to photonics. Absorption spectroscopy provides a broad and deep insight into the carrier dynamics of MHPs, and is a critical complement to fluorescence and scattering spectroscopy. However, absorption spectroscopy is often misunderstood or underestimated, being seen as UV-vis spectroscopy only, which can lead to various misinterpretations.

Meanwhile, an increasing awareness has emerged regarding the detrimental role of glial cells and neuroinflammation in morphine tolerance (MT). This study investigated the influence of crosstalk between astrocyte and microglia on the evolution of morphine tolerance.

There is a lack of studies on the clinical phenotypes of PJS concerning the pathology and molecular characteristics of adnexal tumors. We searched for 781 relevant studies through PubMed and Web of Science, and preliminary statistical and grouping comparisons were made using the screened study data combined with our patient.

In this study, different concentrations of nanoselenium were sprayed on the leaves of alfalfa. Compared to the control, nanoselenium (100 mg·L) significantly increased SeMet and SeMeCys contents in the roots, stems, and leaves of alfalfa.

Regularly arranging these heterogeneous pores can significantly optimize the combined effect of the introduced components. Porous Organic Cages (POCs), an emerging subclass of porous materials composed of discrete molecules, assemble to form interconnected pores and exhibit permanent porosity in the solid state.

However, China has begun to end the zero-COVID policies in late 2022. Here, we reported a resurgence of common respiratory viruses and Mycoplasma pneumoniae with unique epidemiological characteristics among children after ending the zero-COVID policy in Shanghai, China, 2023.

However, no Lin28 inhibitor has been approved to treat cancer patients, urging exploration of novel compounds as candidates to be tested for clinical trials. In this contribution, we applied computer-aided drug design (CADD) in combination with quantitative biochemical and biological assays.

In this study, we developed new chiral hybrid perovskites, (R/S-MBA)(GA)PbI, by incorporating achiral guanidinium (GA) and chiral R/S-methylbenzylammonium (R/S-MBA) into the perovskite framework. The resulting materials possess a distinctive structural configuration, positioned between 1D and 2D perovskites, which we describe as 1.5D.

Objectives: To identify a key Long chain non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) related to PD and provide a new perspective on the role of LncRNAs in Parkinson's disease (PD) pathophysiology.
Methods: Our study involved analyzing gene chips from the substantia nigra and white blood cells, both normal and PD-inclusive, in the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database, utilizing a weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA). The technique of WGCNA facilitated the examination of differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in the substantia nigra and the white blood cells of individuals with PD.
Background: B-Raf proto-oncogene, serine/threonine kinase (BRAF)-mutant microsatellite stable (MSS) colorectal cancer (CRC) constitutes a distinct CRC subgroup, traditionally perceived as minimally responsive to standard therapies. Recent clinical attempts, such as BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi) monotherapy and combining BRAFi with other inhibitors, have yielded unsatisfactory efficacy. This study aims to identify a novel therapeutic strategy for this challenging subgroup.

Jiangu Decoction (JGD), a traditional Chinese poly-herbal formulation, has shown efficacy in mitigating osteoporosis (OP) and fractures caused by osteoporosis in diabetic patients in clinical trials. In addition, JGD has been proven to promote the proliferation of osteoblasts.

Significant differences in CO₂ and particulate number (PN) emissions were observed, primarily due to altitude-induced changes in air pressure, affecting air resistance and combustion efficiency. Driving conditions and emission standards were identified as key factors influencing emissions, with road grade and air pressure playing crucial roles at high altitudes.

Global climate change and rapid urbanization have increasingly intensified extreme rainfall events and surface runoff, posing significant challenges to urban hydrological security. Synergetic Grey-Green Infrastructure (SGGI) has been widely applied to enhance stormwater management in urban areas. However, current research primarily focused on optimizing and evaluating either grey infrastructure (GREI) or green infrastructure (GI) under single rainfall event, neglecting the non-stationary impacts of long-term climate change on infrastructure performance.
