Clinical and electrophysiological examinations of the brachial plexus was carried out in 61 women after radiotherapy following operation for breast cancer. A number of clinical abnormalities were found such as hypeaesthesia, hyporeflexia, muscular atrophy, lymphoedema of the extremity which were confirmed by electrophysiological examination. The most common findings were of neurogenic muscular atrophy in the involved extremity, less frequent was slower nerve conduction on the affected side.

The results of multidrug therapy of 44 male patients with non-seminomatous testicular tumours are discussed. The diagnosed tumours were of all stages of the clinical advances and were treated with combined chemotherapy (surgery and PVP regimen). Thirty two patients (73%) are followed up between 7 and 103 months and survived, complete remission is noted in 29 patients (66%) including 6 patients who survived over 5 years.

In two female patients aged 37 and 66 y breast and subcutaneous plasmoblastic infiltrations developed in the course of therapy for plasmoblastoma. In the first patient with plasmoblastic leukemia those infiltrations occurred after 6-month therapy. In the second patient progression of the disease was noted after 30 months of treatment.

67 patients with mammary carcinoma were submitted to an immunological control examination. This control comprised 14 tests which determined the efficacy of the immune systems, among others: activity of complement, properdin, lysozyme, and beta-lysin, the rate of immunoglobulins, and the behavior of leucergy, rosette tests, NBT, BLT, and tuberculin test. The thoroughly executed examinations did not show any significant difference between patients with active neoplasms and patients in remission stage.
