However, there is a scarcity of data concerning patients with hematologic malignancies. Increasing evidence suggests hypothalamic involvement in ME/CFS pathophysiology, which has rarely been explored using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in the condition. This work aimed to use MRI to examine hypothalamus connectivity in adolescents with ME/CFS and explore how this relates to fatigue severity and illness duration.

In 2021, an 8-mg intranasal naloxone product was approved by the Food and Drug Administration; however, no studies have examined outcomes among persons who receive the 8-mg naloxone product and those who receive the usual 4-mg product. During March 2022-August 2023, New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) supplied some New York State Police (NYSP) troops with 8-mg intranasal naloxone; other troops continued to receive 4-mg intranasal naloxone to treat suspected opioid overdose. NYSP submitted detailed reports to NYSDOH when naloxone was administered.

Background: The Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon began a Mobile Medication Unit (MMU) as part of their Great Circle Recovery Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) to address elevated rates of opioid use disorder (OUD) among American Indians and Alaska Natives in Oregon. The MMU provides methadone or buprenorphine for individuals with OUD, enrolled in the OTP, who are living either on the reservation or in surrounding rural communities. An implementation study describes the service through document review and qualitatively assesses patient and staff experiences and the perceived barriers and facilitators to mobile services.

Methods: We performed a scoping review using four databases (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online, Embase, Web of Science, and Cumulated Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature) for articles that tested the effect of behavioral-based interventions on any aspect of surgeons' decision-making in the preoperative setting.

Context: Medical students are expected to gain competency in inquiring about patients' goals of care, per the Association of American Medical Colleges' Entrustable Professional Activities.
