Objectives: This study aims to validate the Palliative and Complex Chronic Pediatric Patients QoL Inventory (PACOPED QL), a new quality-of-life (QoL) assessment tool for pediatric palliative patients with complex chronic conditions. The goal is to create a comprehensive and inclusive instrument tailored to this unique population, addressing the gap in existing tools that do not meet these specific needs.

Cognitive deficits constitute one of the greatest challenges for independence achievement after a stroke. This paper provides an in depth view of the application of the Multicontext approach within routine Occupational Therapy care for a 41-year-old who demonstrated limited participation in activities of daily living as a consequence of executive function impairments and limited self-awareness. Results indicated improved online self-awareness, strategy use and functional performance, however, no changes were observed on a standard Awareness Questionnaire.

Materials And Methods: A 45 year old male had thumb proximal phalanx osteomyelitis after a crush trauma of the dominant right hand and multiple previous unsuccessful surgical attempts in other hospitals. In our centre he underwent to a two stage surgical treatment of the infection through bone and soft tissue reconstruction with a MFCF shaped in a new three dimensional (3D) approach with multiple osteotomies.
