Objective: To analyze the knowledge of women who are being treated in Psychosocial Care Centers for Alcohol and Drugs about the harm caused by alcohol consumption during pregnancy, especially regarding fetal malformation.

Method: Qualitative, descriptive and exploratory study using the Life Narrative approach. Objective: to identify funding demands in the light of CNPq's knowledge subareas, as well as data on researchers and research groups, their distribution in the regions and their approximation with health research priorities of the Ministry of Health and the new knowledge tree framework of the area.

Method: a descriptive study developed with data from 2009 to 2014 about researchers, funding and research areas provided by the Diretoria de Ciências Agrárias Biológicas e Saúde (Department of Agriculture, Biology and Health Sciences).

Results: there is a concentration of researchers and research groups in the Southeast region.

The study aimed to understand the phenomenon of mothering in the presence of a neonatal surgery. This is a qualitative study, applying the life story method, engaging eighteen women-mothers of newborn undergoing surgery. This study aimed to present the trajectory of doctoral education in nursing in Brazil from 1981 to 2004. A descriptive and analytical study was carried out, using documents available at the Brazilian Federal Agency for Support and Evaluation of Graduate Education, a body responsible for the recognition, evaluation and coordination of graduate studies in Brazil. The study consisted in a bibliographical revision about congenital malformations. The objectives consist of making a survey of the nursing production about the subject, presenting the current referring contributions related to the questions of congenital malformations and to propitiate a reflection for the performance of nursing professionals when facing this situation. As results, the revision located studies that had been categorized in thematic units: mother perception, familiar questions, monitorization project and nursing care in the specific anomalies.

This study describes the relationship between nursing doctoral dissertations and research lines defined by the Brazilian Nursing field in three areas: professional, care and organizational. It isa descriptive-exploratory research, based on reports of Graduate Programs evaluated by CAPES and on The Informative Guide of Nursing Research and Researchers CEPEn/ ABEn, from 1983 to 2001, totalling 448 abstracts. The care field includes the greatest production, followed by the organizational and professional areas.

This is a qualitative study that used Life History method aiming to describe the woman-mother-nursing laborer's daily routine and to analyze the woman-mother-nursing laborer's perception of their daily routine, based on their life history. Twenty-five nursing professionals of a public general hospital in Rio de Janeiro, who had children, were interviewed. The report analysis revealed that these laborers see nurses as multivalent professionals, who are involved in the whole hospital organization dynamics, due to lack of delimitation of the nursing actions.

This study focused on the life of women who are both mothers and nursing professionals, applying the method of life history. The goals were: to describe the every day life of these professionals; to identify the influence of the profession on these women and to analyze the perception of this reality based on their history of life. Data partial analysis showed that the profession interferes in women's lives, considering their type of activity, and that quite often it changes deeply the family's daily routine.

In this study, characterized as a qualitative one, whose author tells about her experience when accomplishing her Doctorate thesis for the History of life method. She describes the methodological approach, turning explicit the collection and the report analysis technique as well as the incidental difficulties that may turn up during the research completion. She concludes that this method turns the approach among the researcher and the individuals feasible.
