Photobiomodul Photomed Laser Surg

To assess the evidence available and knowledge gaps in photobiomodulation (PBM) for oral facial pain. Effective identification of a noninvasive resource for oral facial pain such as PBM may mitigate the risks of invasive therapeutic resources. Nine electronic databases were searched for systematic reviews reporting oral facial pain outcome for PBM.

Patients (n = 36) were selected and randomly distributed into 6 groups ( = 6/group; [G1] negative control, [G2] radial artery transcutaneous laser irradiation [G3] radial artery transcutaneous irradiation, [G4] transmucosal sublingual irradiation, [G5] transmucosal intra-nasal irradiation and [G6] extended radial artery transcutaneous irradiation). Blood exams were performed at T0, T30 and T60.

Materials And Methods: Twenty-eight maxillary anterior teeth were used in this study. After removing the crowns, the canals were prepared with the step-back technique and filled with guttapercha.
Femtosecond lasers have been widely used in laser surgery as an instrument for contact-free tissue removal of hard dental, restorative materials, and osseous tissues, complementing conventional drilling or cutting tools. In order to obtain a laser system that provides an ablation efficiency comparable to mechanical instruments, the laser pulse rate must be maximal without causing thermal damage. The aim of this study was to compare the different morphological characteristics of the hard tissue after exposure to lasers operating in the femtosecond pulse regime.

Due to the possibility of a synergistic effect between laser and fluoride, this study investigated the effect of fluoridated agents and Nd:YAG irradiation separately and in combination on enamel resistance to erosion.
Methods: One hundred bovine enamel blocks were randomly divided into 10 groups: G1, untreated (control); G2, acidic phosphate fluoride (APF) (1.
Objective: In this paper we evaluated the effect of two fluoridated agents and Nd:YAG irradiation separately and in combination on dentine resistance to erosion.
Background Data: The morphological changes in dentin induced by laser treatment may reduce the progression of erosive lesions. Due to the possibility of a synergistic effect of laser with fluoride, this study was conducted.
Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate, through a double-blind study, the effect of gallinium-aluminium- arsenic (GaAlAs) laser irradiation on the speed of orthodontic movement in canine premolars.
Methods: Eighteen dogs were divided into two groups, and their third molars were extracted. An orthodontic device was placed between the first molar and the second premolar for stabilization purpose.
The purpose of our investigation is to compare the intrapulpal temperature changes following blue LED system and halogen lamp irradiation at the enamel surface of permanent teeth. The fixation of brackets using composite resin is more comfortable and faster when using a photo-curable composite. Several light sources can be used: halogens, arc plasma, lasers, and recently blue LED systems.

It prevents the excessive generation of shock waves and promotes a considerable decrease of mechanical side effects. In this study, a Nd:YAG picosecond-pulsed Q-switched and mode-locked laser (Antares 76-s, Coherent, Palo Alto, CA) was used.
