The relationship between arterial elasticity and lipid profile in people with type 1 diabetes mellitus.

A cross-sectional study was carried out to assess small (SAEI) and large (LAEI) arterial elasticity indexes of individuals with T1DM, and its relationship with their lipid profile. There were associations between SAEI and total cholesterol and waist-hip ratio (R(2)=0.29).
