The tinidazole coordination compounds [Co(tnz)Cl], [Co(tnz)Br], [Cu(tnz)Cl], [Cu(tnz)Br], [Zn(tnz)Cl] and [Zn(tnz)Br] were synthesized and spectroscopically characterized.
