Introduction: Culicoides Latreille biting midges are vectors of high concern as they can transmit serious veterinary diseases such as bluetongue virus or epizootic haemorrhagic disease virus, among others. Little is known about these vectors in Galicia, so a comprehensive literature review and an intensive monitoring were carried out in the region.
Material And Methods: The Autonomous Community of Galicia was sampled through three different vector surveillance projects between 2004 and 2023.
