Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a chronic inflammatory condition affecting psoriatic patients. Its clinical manifestations in patients can vary over time, advancing from one joint to the next with an intermittent pattern of exacerbation and remission. The condition shares similar manifestations with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), ankylosing spondylitis, and reactive arthritis; hence, a comprehensive examination is required for a proper diagnosis and management.

As a low bandgap material (1.37 eV), NaBiS was hydrothermally prepared and used as a potential photocatalyst to degrade 2,4-DCP under visible light irradiation.

We analyze publicly available online seizure reports involving pangolins across India before (2018-2019) and during the pandemic (March-August 2020), using a longitudinal study design to estimate how lockdowns have impacted pangolin trade. Our analysis indicates a significant increase in seizures reported during the lockdown months of March to August 2020, in comparison to the same period in 2018 and 2019.

New strains of SARS-CoV-2 have been evolving unceasingly, presenting with various systemic and oral manifestations. There has been an increase in the incidence of secondary infection in the coronavirus infected individual either due to pre-existing factors or the virus by itself is causing such infection, which is still unclear.

Representative light microscopy images are presented that show that 6 once-daily electroconvulsive shocks (ECSs) dose-dependently increased dendritic arborization in the CA1 region of the hippocampus in healthy, adult, male Wistar rats (n = 10 in each of sham, 10-mC, and 40-mC ECS groups). These neuroplasticity changes, identified 1 month after the last ECS, may explain a part of the mechanism of action of electroconvulsive therapy in conditions such as depression.

Representative light microscopy images are presented which show that 6 once-daily electroconvulsive shocks (ECS), dose-dependently increased new cell formation in the subgranular region of the hippocampus in healthy adult male Wistar rats (10 sections per rat, 3 rats in each of sham ECS, 10 mC, and 40 mC groups). These neuroplasticity changes, demonstrated 1 month after the last ECS, may explain a part of the mechanism of action of electroconvulsive therapy in conditions such as depression.

Light microscopy images are presented, which show that 6 once-daily high (but not low)-dose electroconvulsive shocks attenuated dendritic arborization in the basolateral amygdala of Wistar rats, which changes were apparent even 1 month after the last electroconvulsive shock. These changes may explain a part of the mechanism of action of electroconvulsive therapy in conditions such as depression and posttraumatic stress disorder.

The aims of this study were, to evaluate the accuracy of inter-anterior superior iliac spinous distance in determining stature of an individual as compared to foot length, and to note sex differences in the above mentioned parameters. One hundred normal healthy adult subjects from South India consisting of 50 males and 50 females were studied.

The aim of this study was to evaluate students' perception of this method vis-à-vis the lecture method of teaching.
Settings And Design: A questionnaire was used to survey and evaluate the perceptions of 1st year MBBS students at the Department of Anatomy at our medical college in India.
One hundred and forty two south Indian mandibles of unknown sex were examined for the variations of the location and direction of the mental foramen. Accessory mental foramen were also looked for. The findings have been compared with those of other studies in the literature.
