Unlabelled: Bitemark analysis involves the examination of both patterned injuries and contextual circumstances, combining morphological and positional data. Considering the uniqueness of human dentition, bitemarks caused by teeth on skin or impressions on flexible surfaces could assist in human identification.
Aims: to investigate the available literature systematically and evaluate the scientific evidence published over the past decade concerning the potential application of bitemark analysis in forensic identification.

Introduction: Human Identification based on dental evidence cannot be accomplished if antemortem dental records are unavailable or of poor quality. The involvement of the orthodontist in mass disaster victim identification processes may be crucial in relation to the amount and quality of the records which can be obtained before, during, and following the treatment.
Aim: The aim of the study is the description of the contribution of the findings drawn from orthodontic records to the identification of victims of mass disasters who had received an orthodontic treatment, through the presentation of two cases.
Objective: The aim of this study is to compare the accuracy of cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) for dental model scanning to the accuracy of model scanners.
Methods: Subjects from private practice were collected and scanned according to specific selection criteria. A total of 10 STL files were produced and used as reference files.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of the application of orthodontic tooth forces on the alveolar bone distal to the loaded teeth, in ovariectomized female rats.
Methods: Twenty-four eight-month-old Wistar rats were divided into one group ovariectomized at the age of six months and one control. An orthodontic appliance delivering a mesial traction force of 60 gr* was placed on the right maxillary 1 molar of all animals for 14 days.
