Flower color is one of the main quality and economic traits of ornamental plants, and a large amount of research on flower color mainly focuses on the differences between varieties, while there were few reports on the change of flower color at different developmental stages. In this study, the metabolome and transcriptome of a new strain 'XM-1' with dynamic color changes of Oncidium were analyzed. The results showed that rutin, quercetin and carotenoids metabolism decreased significantly during the change of color from yellow to white.

Hexanuclear polyoxomolybdenum-based discrete supermolecules Na[MoO(μ-O)(Htrz)(trz)]·HO ( = 0, = 15, 1; = 1, = 12, 2; = 2, = 10, 3; = 2, = 49, 4; Htrz = 1-1,2,3-triazole) have been prepared and fully characterized with different amounts of sodium cations inside and outside the intrinsic holes. Structural analyses demonstrate that they all exist a triangular channel constructed by six molybdenum-oxygen groups with inner diameters of 2.86 (1), 2.

By adjusting the pH values of the solutions, binuclear, tetranuclear and hexadecanuclear glycolato thio- and oxomolybdenum(V/IV) complexes [MoV2O(μ-O)(μ-S)(Hglyc)(Hpz)]·HO (1, Hglyc = glycolic acid, Hpz = pyrazole), (Hdpa)[MoV2O(μ-S)(Hglyc)(glyc)(HO)] (2, dpa = 2,2'-dipyridylamine), (Hdpa)[MoV4O(μ-O)(μ-S)(glyc)(SO)] (3) and Na[MoIV4MoV12O(μ-O)(μ-OH)(μ-O)(glyc)(Hpz)(pz)]·28HO (4) have been obtained successfully. Here the glycolates existed in varying aggregates with different degrees of protonation and deprotonation in 1-4. The stable formations of 1 and 2 are attributed to strong hydrogen bonds formed between the molecules.

Article Synopsis
  • Researchers have synthesized and characterized various porous materials consisting of multiple metal-oxo clusters known as polyoxometalates (POMs), specifically dodecanuclear, icosanuclear, and octanuclear types.
  • These materials exhibit diverse pore structures formed by their unique molecular formations and interactions with water molecules, which are essential for their potential applications.
  • Notably, one of the materials, referred to as 1, shows superior capability for CO gas adsorption compared to other gases, highlighting its potential use in gas storage and separation technologies.

The development of metal-organic framework sensors with excellent stability under harsh physical and chemical conditions is of great significance in practical applications. Two isostructural lanthanide-organic frameworks, Ln-MOF ({Ln(L)(H2O)(DMA)}n, {FJU-13-Ln, Ln = Eu, Tb } (H3L = 3,5-(4-carboxybenzyloxy)benzoic acid)), were found to display exceptional stability, not only being stable in both acidic and basic aqueous solutions (pH 3-11), but also maintaining good robustness in boiling water and after activation. Furthermore, the plentiful oxygen atoms in the oxygen-rich channels of FJU-13-Eu and FJU-13-Tb acted as Lewis base sites for sensing metal ions, exhibiting high sensitivity (Stern-Volmer constant, KSV = 2.

Objective: To analyze the efficacy and survival associated factors of gefitinib combined with cisplatin and gemcitabine for advanced non-small cell lung cancer.

Materials And Methods: A total of 57 patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), who received platinum-based chemotherapy regimens for more than 1 cycle, were treated with gefitinib combined with cisplatin and gemcitabine until disease progression. Efficacy, survival time and adverse reactions were observed.
