Lucanus qizhihaoi, a new stag beetle from Wuyishan National Park of Fujian, China (Coleoptera: Lucanidae: Lucaninae).

A new stag beetle species is described from Wuyishan National Park of Fujian, China, Lucanus qizhihaoi Lin, Su, Xin & Song, new species, which represents the easternmost distribution record of the L. boileaui group, previously known only from southwestern China and northern Indochina Peninsula. Evidences are found on morphological characters, the mitochondrial marker COI and significant geographic isolation to clearly distinguished the new species from its closest relative, L.

New Information: In this paper, we reported three genera, two subgenera and five species of the subfamily Chrysochroinae Laporte de Castelnau, 1835 (Coleoptera, Buprestidae) which are all newly recorded from China.

Exploring the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on Americans time use related subjective wellbeing.

In this study, the most recent American Time Use Surveys containing reported activity-based emotions and sensations information before (10,378 respondents in 2013) and during (6,902 respondents in 2021) the COVID-19 pandemic are used to assess if time use related individuals' subjective wellbeing (SWB) decreased in the pandemic. Given that the coronavirus has been shown to strongly influence activity decisions and social interactions, sequence analysis is applied to find daily time allocation patterns and changes in daily time allocation. Then, those derived daily patterns and other activity-travel factors, as well as social and demographic, temporal, spatial, and other contextual characteristics are added as explanatory variables in regression models of SWB measures.

A new stag beetle is described from Yunnan Province, China: Lucanus jiaozishanus Qi, He, Su & Song, new species. It is the third species of the L. boileaui group which are distributed only in Southwestern China and Northeastern Myanmar.

[Application of nitrous oxide / oxygen inhalation sedation in tooth extraction of elderly patients with hypertension].

Purpose: To investigate the safety and efficacy of nitrous oxide/oxygen inhalation sedation assisted in elderly hypertensive patients under local anesthesia during tooth extraction.

Methods: Forty elderly patients (age≥70 years) with hypertension who needed tooth extraction with electrocardiographic monitoring were selected, and divided into experimental and control groups randomly, with 20 patients in each group. The experimental group was treated with nitrous oxide/oxygen inhalation sedation and local anesthesia for surgery, the control group underwent tooth extraction under local anesthesia.

[The clinical application of monitored anesthesia care in percutaneous dilatational tracheostomy].

Objective: To investigate the changes in hemodynamics and depth of anesthesia under monitored anesthesia care (MAC) in patients undergoing percutaneous dilatational tracheostomy (PDT).
