Using animal manure as organic fertilizer to grow fodder crops is causing public health concerns because animal manure is the major reservoir of veterinary antibiotics. In this study, we used a mathematical model to estimate the risk of human exposure to veterinary antibiotics when using swine manure as organic fertilizer to grow alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.).

However, the impact of these antibiotics on symbiotic nitrogen fixation is poorly understood. We investigated the effect of the veterinary antibiotics oxytetracycline and sulfamethazine, and a combination of both, on nitrogen fixation in alfalfa ( L.

Material And Methods: Relevant studies about Cys C concentrations in T2DM were searched in PubMed, EMBASE and the Cochrane Library database (up to Oct 31 2018). We computed the pooled standard mean difference (SMD) with its 95% confidence interval (CI) of Cys C levels through a random-effect model.

Objective: The aims of this study were to reveal the magnitude of the differences in protein structures at a cellular level as well as protein utilization and availability among soybean meal (SBM), canola meal (CM), and rapeseed meal (RSM) as feedstocks in China.
Methods: Experiments were designed to compare the three different types of feedstocks in terms of: 1) protein chemical profiles; 2) protein fractions partitioned according to Cornell Net Carbohydrate and Protein System; 3) protein molecular structures and protein second structures; 4) special protein compounds-amino acid (AA); 5) total digestible protein and energy values; 6) in situ rumen protein degradability and intestinal digestibility. The protein second structures were measured using FT/IR molecular spectroscopy technique.
Ionic liquids (ILs) have attracted significant attention because of their unique chemical and physical properties. Immobilization of ILs on solid materials helps increase their efficiency and facilitate their recycling. In our present work, ILs were immobilized on α-zirconium phosphate (ZrP) single layer nanosheets by a post-grafting method.

In this work, a strong solid acid was prepared by anchoring thiol group terminated chains on layered α-zirconium phosphate (ZrP) single-layer nanosheets, followed by oxidation of thiol groups to form sulfonic acid groups. The obtained solid acids were thoroughly characterized and the results proved that sulfonic acid group terminated chains were successfully grafted onto the ZrP nanosheets with a high loading density.

A wide variety of methods are now available for the formation of C(sp(2))-C(sp(2)) bonds, and more recent work has focused on the use of C(sp(3)) electrophiles and nucleophiles. The use of secondary and tertiary alkyl nucleophiles in cross-coupling reactions remains a challenge because of the propensity of these alkyl groups to isomerize under the reaction conditions.

Depending on the reaction conditions, either substituted tris(iminomethyl)phosphine, P(CH2N=CHR)3, or 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane structures substituted at the "lower rim", PTAR3, are obtained.

DTBNpP also provided effective catalysts for amination reactions of aryl chlorides at elevated temperatures. Further replacement of tert-butyl groups with neopentyl substituents resulted in less effective ligands for amination reactions.

The coordination environment about the manganese was probed using X-ray crystallography (solid state) and EXAFS spectroscopy (solution).
