Statement Of Problem: Clinical studies regarding satisfaction and occlusal forces with the complete denture in relation to the menopause are sparse.

Purpose: The purpose of this clinical study was to compare satisfaction levels and occlusal force with complete dentures in premenopausal and postmenopausal Indian women.

Material And Methods: Twenty premenopausal (group pre-MP) and 20 postmenopausal (group post-MP) completely edentulous participants were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, and estradiol levels were measured.

Nano zirconium phosphate (ZrP) was synthesized hydrothermally using an autoclave and was further self-assembled with chitosan to form bionanocomposite CZrP. The structural characteristics of ZrP and CZrP were investigated by Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Energy Dispersive X-Ray (EDX), X-Ray Photelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), Electron Spin Resonance (ESR), Raman spectroscopy and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) techniques. During the course of characterization, unique surface defects and superoxide anions stabilized on ZrP and CZrP were observed for the first time.

A facile synthesis of Chitosan Supramolecularly cross-linked with Trimesic Acid (CTMA) is reported in this work. The adsorption potential of CTMA for removal of hexavalent chromium was evaluated and the influence of pH, temperature, contact time and adsorbent dose on the adsorption process was investigated. The experimental results showed that CTMA could efficiently adsorb Cr and partially reduce it to the less toxic Cr state.

Chitosan (CH) and its derivatives have been the focus of attention for researchers as potential adsorbents for heavy metal removal. The adsorption potential of chitosan cross-linked with diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (CD) for Cr6+ was investigated. CD was characterized by FTIR, XRD, TGA, XPS and ESR techniques.
