CsZnCl: a lead-free all-inorganic perovskite with a large dielectric permittivity.

In recent years, inorganic perovskite materials based on metallic halides have attracted significant attention due to their non-toxicity and ease of synthesis, making them suitable for various applications. This article describes the slow evaporation approach at room temperature for the fabrication of a non-toxic inorganic perovskite based on metallic halide CsZnCl. This compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic phase of the space group, as confirmed by room temperature X-ray diffraction.

Taguchi method: artificial neural network approach for the optimization of high-efficiency microfluidic biosensor for COVID-19.

COVID-19 is a pandemic disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). This virus is mainly spread by droplets, respiratory secretions, and direct contact. Microfluidic biosensors have played an important and challenging role for the rapid detection of the new severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). The purpose of this research was to optimize the performance of a microfluidic biosensor using two different approaches: Taguchi optimization and artificial neural network (ANN) optimization.

Focal epilepsy and psychosis symptoms: A case report and review of the literature.

Background: Epilepsy is still a real mental health problem; although most epilepsies are curable, their psychopathological consequences are often significant and complex to manage. In this framework, the association of epilepsy with psychotic disorders has long been known.

Case Presentation: To discuss the links between epilepsy and psychosis, we report the observation of a 52-year-old man, treated for complex focal epilepsy, admitted to a psychiatric department for auditory and visual hallucinations and a behavioural disorder not improved by antiepileptic treatment alone or an antipsychotic alone.

Predictors of sleep quality in medical students during COVID-19 confinement.

Objectives: We aimed to assess sleep quality of Tunisian medical students during home confinement due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and to analyze the relationship between sleep quality and sociodemographic, clinical, confinement-related and psychological variables.

Methods: A correlational cross-sectional study was conducted from April 11th to May 3rd 2020. Medical students who have been in home confinement and who accepted to participate in an online survey were targeted.

[Bipolar disorder and criminality: a comparative study by gender].

Background: Unlike schizophrenia, the impact of gender on the criminality of patients with bipolar disorder has received little attention.

Aim: To estimate the sex ratio in relation to acts committed by forensic bipolar patients and evaluate the impact of gender on the characteristics of this crime.

Methods: A comparative study by gender, conducted at the psychiatric hospital Razi has included all patients with bipolar disorder hospitalized between 1990 and 2010 after being relaxed for mental illness, owing to the Tunisian penal code.

Application of a chitosan-immobilized Talaromyces thermophilus lipase to a batch biodiesel production from waste frying oils.

Gene cloning and molecular characterization of the Talaromyces thermophilus lipase catalyzed efficient hydrolysis and synthesis of esters.

A genomic bank from Talaromyces thermophilus fungus was constructed and screened using a previously isolated fragment lipase gene as probe. From several clones isolated, the nucleotide sequence of the lipase gene (TTL gene) was completed and sequenced.
