Background: Otis urethrotomy can sometimes lead to troublesome bleeding after seemingly uneventful procedures. This case report highlights one such case which went unnoticed initially; the bleeding was erroneously ascribed to the prostate, thereby falsely indicting the "decoy" prostate.
Case Presentation: A 78-year-old Asian gentleman was referred to our hospital with complaint of intractable bleeding after undergoing laser enucleation of prostate at another institute, wherein he further underwent unsuccessful bilateral angioembolization of pudendal arteries.
Usually, flank pain signifies the presence of a renal/ureteric pathology. Here, we highlight an unusual cause of flank pain, which can be an important differential to be borne in mind while evaluating the causes of flank pain. Anatomical variants of the kidneys are very common, but rarely do they cause flank pain unless associated with an ongoing pathological process within them.

Case Report: A 14-year-old girl presented with the features of ACTH-independent endogenous Cushing syndrome. Abdominal CECT revealed a left adrenal 2.
New opp-dibenzoporphyrins were prepared in a concise method that was based on a Pd(0)-catalyzed cascade reaction. These porphyrins, which contained carboxylic-acid linker groups on benzene rings that were fused to the porphyrin at their β,β'-positions, were examined as sensitizers for dye-sensitized solar cells for the first time. Whereas all of the porphyrins showed solar-energy-to-electricity conversion, an opp-dibenzoporphyrin with conjugated carboxylic-acid linkers displayed the highest conversion efficiency and an exceptionally high J(sc) value.

Hypocalcemia due to hypoparathyroidism may manifest as serious neurologic symptoms such as seizures, movement disorders, or raised intracranial pressure. Several patients were observed to have these dangerous neurologic complications even without subtle signs of hypocalcemia like tetany, chvostek's sign or carpopedal spasms. We present a case of recurrent hypocalcemic seizures due to congenital hypoparathyroidism.

In this method, introduction of alkenyl groups to the porphyrin periphery through the vicinal 2-fold Heck reaction, 6-pi electrocyclization, and subsequent aromatization occur in one pot.
