We present a rare case of a 70-year-old man with a known case of hypertension and carcinoma larynx, he was admitted under ENT (ear, nose and throat) services for a laryngectomy. On admission, he started having severe per rectal bleeding. The patient underwent a number of radiological investigations to determine the origin of the bleed, including Tc 99 m labelled red blood cells tagged scan, a CT scan and two angiographies.

Naeglaeria fowleri are pathogenic free-living amoebae. They cause primary amoebic meningoencephalitis (PAM), a rapidly fatal disease of the central nervous system.

Methods: The retrospective, descriptive study was conducted at the Department of Radiology, Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, and related to patients' records from April 19, 2006 to April 23, 2009. Seventy patients underwent magnetic resonance imaging of brain for pituitary gland.
Objective: To evaluate the Magnetic Resonauce Imaging (MRI) features in patients having Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome.
Methods: This is a retrospective study from 8th June 2005 to 26th July 2009. Twelve patients were included who were confirmed to have Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome, per imaging and clinical follow-up.
Methanol is a highly toxic substance and acute methanol poisoning produces severe metabolic acidosis and serious neurological symptoms, including severe visual impairment, extrapyramidal signs and coma. We present three cases of accidental methanol intoxication and discuss the MRI findings.

MRI brain showed abnormal signal intensity involving dentate nuclei of cerebellum bilaterally symmetrical. The diagnosis of metronidazole toxicity was made by the MR imaging findings and supported clinically.

Although lumbar MFI is primarily analyzed and reported by a radiologist, neurosurgeons often analyse it independently as they have sufficient clinical background as well as radiological expertise to diagnose most spinal pathologies on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
Methods: Retrospective analysis was carried out for images of 54 patients who underwent MRI between March and July 2010 of lumbar spine with suspected lumbar disc herniation and nerve root compression, at Aga Khan Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan.
We report a case of Neurosarcoidosis in absence of pulmonary features. It is estimated that less than 1% of patients have an isolated CNS involvement, without systemic evidence of disease. This case also had an unusual clinical presentation.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging appearances are described in three cases of Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS). The different appearances of AS on magnetic resonance imaging are described and their significance in relation to the pathology of this condition is discussed. MRI is increasingly used to detect changes in the spine of patients with AS.

Magnetic Resonauce Imaging (MRI) is the imaging modality of choice to detect and differentiate myeloma at unusual sites. We present the case of a sixty-year-old man who was a known case of MM.

The lesions in PRES are thought to be due to vasogenic oedema, predominantly in the posterior cerebral hemispheres, and are reversible with appropriate management. We report 3 cases of acute PRES who had eclampsia and presented with recurrent episodes of seizures and hypertension.

Toxoplasmosis in patients who are immunocompromised can be severe and debilitating in patients with Central Nervous System (CNS) involvement and the condition may be fatal. We report the case of a 40-year-old man who was a known case of HIV and presented with cerebral toxoplasmosis.
