Banking of umbilical cord blood (UCB) is performed to collect and store umbilical cord stem cells. Both public and private cord blood banks have been established around the world. The study aimed to determine the level of awareness of UCB banking among pregnant couples and to assess the attitude of the couples toward UCB banking.
