We hypothesize that they are equally predictive and that combining both has the highest predictive value.
Study Design: We retrospectively compared data of infants with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) who received HT (n = 45) between September 2009 and December 2013 with those of infants with HIE born between January 2004 and August 2009, before HT was available (NT, n = 37).

Recovery and Recurrence Questionnaire score, presence of cerebral palsy (CP), and crude outcome were assessed, specifically (1) the ability to walk independently, (2) participation in regular education, and (3) the presence of epilepsy.

Molybdenum cofactor (Moco) deficiency is a rare neurometabolic disorder, characterized by neurological impairment and refractive seizures, due to toxic accumulation of sulfite in the brain. Patients And Methods: A selection of a cohort, compiled in an earlier performed retrospective study, was used in this case-control study.
Objective: Following the introduction and widespread use of central venous catheters (CVCs) in adults, these devices are being used with increasing frequency in the pediatric population. This review will focus on differences between adults and children regarding CVC use and its potential complications. Both mechanical and infectious complications will be discussed.
