Promoting evidence-based practice: training health professionals for the evidence synthesis.

Objective: To report the experience of the Portugal Centre For Evidence Based Practice (PCEBP): a JBI Centre of Excellence in the training of health professionals, researchers, and professors in the Comprehensive Systematic Review Training Program, a course on Evidence Synthesis, specifically on Systematic Literature Reviews.

Method: This article aims to report the experience of the Portugal Centre For Evidence Based Practice: a JBI Centre of Excellence in the implementation of the Comprehensive Systematic Review Training Program that trains health professionals, researchers, and teachers to develop Systematic Reviews, according to the JBI approach.

Results: By the end of 2020, 11 editions of the course had been developed with 136 participants from different educational and health institutions, from different countries.

Relational skills: needs experienced by nursing students.

Objective: to identify the needs of nursing students in the field of relational competencies.

Method: qualitative study with an exploratory-descriptive nature. The random sample included 62 students in the 2nd year of the nursing undergraduate program of a school located in the central region of Portugal.

[Validation of the European Portuguese version of the Older Americans Resources and Services instrument].

Objective: To validate the European Portuguese version of the Older Americans Resources and Services (OARS) instrument, used for the multidimensional evaluation of the quality of life of the elderly.

Method: The study was authorized by the authors of the original English version. First, the questionnaire was translated into European Portuguese and culturally adapted.
