Objective: To apply artificial intelligence (AI) techniques, through deep learning algorithms, for the development and optimization of a system for predicting the age of a person based on a color retinography and to study a possible relationship between the evolution of retinopathy diabetes and premature ageing of the retina.
Methods: A convolutional network was trained to calculate the age of a person based on a retinography. Said training was carried out on a set of retinographies of patients with diabetes previously divided into three subsets (training, validation and test).

The scope of this study was to estimate the prevalence and factors associated with the violence suffered by women accused of drug trafficking in the 24 months prior to incarceration in the Women's Penal Colony in the State of Pernambuco. A cross-sectional study including 290 women aged 18 and above, with up to twelve months imprisonment, was performed for the data collection period. A questionnaire was applied to research the socioeconomic and demographic variables and the characteristics of violence and drug trafficking.

The disease remains a common cause of significant morbidity and mortality, especially when associated with hereditary disorders such as cystic fibrosis, ciliary dyskinesia, and immunodeficiency states. Computed tomography is now the diagnostic modality of choice and may also contribute to clinical management, suggesting some etiologic causes.

Aim: To assess whether computed tomography (CT) abnormalities detected at an early stage of the disease can anticipate abnormal LF a decade later in children with PIBO.
Methods: We compared CT scans of 21 children with PIBO, done within their first 3 years of life, and their actual LF.
We present the case of a 54-year-old patient who presented to our institution 4 months after refusing surgical treatment for a right upper lobe cavitary carcinoma. Weight loss, hemoptysis, and worsening pulsatile chest pain were the complaints. Radiologic restaging surprisingly revealed a large pulmonary artery pseudoaneurysm occupying the whole cavity area.

We present the case of a 71-year-old male with a history of lobectomy with pericardial resection and mediastinal lymphadenectomy (T3N0M0). At five years after the operation, he presented with a new pulmonary lesion.

The early treatment of complications is important for the long-term survival of lung transplant recipients. Frequently, HRCT plays a central role in the investigation of such complications.
