Introduction: Dentin hypersensitivity (DH) is defined as high sensitivity of the vital dentin when exposed to thermal, chemical or tactile stimuli. Two mechanisms are required for the occurrence of DH: (1) the dentin must be exposed and (2) the dentinal tubules must be open and connected to the pulp. Molar-incisor hypomineralisation (MIH) is a qualitative abnormality of a genetic origin that affects tooth enamel and, in most cases, is accompanied by DH.

Due to its radiographic characteristics, this anatomical variation might be confused with a mandible fracture. Therefore, the knowledge of its presence is essential not only to differentiate it from a fracture, but also for the success of surgical procedures performed in the mandible, making it easier to avoid clinical complications such as swelling, bruising, bleeding, and neurovascular disorders.

A rare microscopic finding in salivary gland tumors, including myoepitheliomas, is the presence of psammoma bodies (PBs), whose etiology and role in the tumors are uncertain. The objective of this study is to describe the unusual histopathologic findings, such as psammomas, of a large myopephelioma on the palate and the prosthetic restorative treatment performed after resection of the tumor.

With advances in adhesive technology and good properties of the available ceramics, the use of ceramic veneers has been offered as a treatment option for cases where teeth have minor color changes and shape and position changes. Through careful treatment planning, it is possible to conservatively use ceramic veneers in the treatments, applying techniques with minimal wear of the teeth and obtaining excellent aesthetic results with mechanical stability and biocompatibility with the periodontal tissues and clinical longevity.

Objectives: Bone marrow fat is inversely correlated with bone mineral density. The aim of this study is to present a method to quantify alveolar bone marrow fat content using a 15 T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner.
Study Design: A 15 T MRI scanner with a 13-mm inner diameter loop-gap radiofrequency coil was used to scan seven 3-mm diameter alveolar bone biopsy specimens.
Cryopreservation aims to cease all biological functions of living tissues in a reversible and controlled manner, i.e., to permit the recovery of cells by maintaining a high degree of their viability and functional integrity.
