This paper explores the opportunities and challenges for classifying human posture in indoor scenarios by analyzing the Frequency-Modulated (FM) radio broadcasting signal received at multiple locations. More specifically, we present a passive RF testbed operating in FM radio bands, which allows experimentation with innovative human posture classification techniques. After introducing the details of the proposed testbed, we describe a simple methodology to detect and classify human posture.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFBackground: This non-inferiority randomised clinical trial aimed to evaluate the survival of direct bulk fill composite resin restorations in primary molars using different methods of moisture control: rubber dam isolation (RDI-local anaesthesia and rubber dam) and cotton roll isolation (CRI-cotton roll and saliva ejector). Secondary outcomes included baseline and 2-year incremental cost, self-reported child's pain scores and patient behaviour during the restorative procedure.
Methods: A total of 174 molars (93 children) with dentine caries lesions were randomly allocated to study groups (RDI or CRI) and restored with bulk fill composite resin by trained operators.
The Research Octane Number (RON) is a key quality parameter for gasoline, obtained offline through complex, time-consuming, and expensive standard methods. Measurements are usually only available a few times per week and after long delays, making process control very challenging. Therefore, alternative methods have been proposed to predict RON from readily available data.

The use of acid secretion suppressants to reduce their incidence has become widely used, but with the current understanding of the risks of these drugs, their use, as prophylaxis in critically ill patients, is limited to the patients with established risk factors.
Aim: To determine the appropriateness of the use of prophylaxis for stress ulcer bleeding in acutely ill patients admitted to intensive care units and to analyze the association of risk factors with adherence to the prophylaxis guideline.

The isolation workflow was guided by HPLC-HRESIMS/MS and molecular networking-based analyses. Twenty-four known alkaloids were dereplicated from the alkaloid-rich fraction network and were assigned by manual MS/MS interpretation.
