- A study was conducted to evaluate the neurodevelopmental outcomes of preterm infants born before 29 weeks and conceived through assisted reproductive technology (ART) compared to those conceived naturally at 18 to 24 months of corrected age.
- The researchers included 4,863 eligible infants, finding that 651 (about 13.4%) were from ART; they assessed for neurodevelopmental impairments and other health outcomes.
