Methods: A qualitative biographical study was carried out, based on semi-structured interviews.
Objective: The population's mental health has been compromised by a global pandemic, especially in patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder. The objective of this study was to evaluate the levels of stress, anxiety and depression in patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder during COVID-19 pandemic.
Methods: A systematic review was carried out following the PRISMA format in the electronic databases Pubmed, Scopus, Web of Science, Dialnet and Medline between the months of January and May 2023.
Aim: To explore the experiences of primary healthcare (PHC) nurses caring for women experiencing intimate partner violence (IPV) in a context of institutional support for the management of this health issue.
Design: Secondary qualitative analysis.
Methods: A purposeful sample (n = 19) of registered nurses, working in a PHC setting, with experience providing care to women who had disclosed intimate partner violence completed an in-depth interview.
Objective: To investigate the meanings given by women caregivers to their care practices and to analyze the relationship between such practices and their work history.
Method: This was a phenomenological qualitative cohort study conducted in Seville, Spain, with family caregivers. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews and submitted to content analysis, using Atlas-ti GmbH software version 5.
Nurses regularly use the patient's clinical history and we interact through it with multi and interdisciplinary team with the purpose of providing comprehensive care to the elderly. We make professional use of personal patient information with this interaction, as well we generate the nursing care plan and nursing records. We also perform comprehensive geriatric assessment and other specific registers aimed at elderly care, which have a clear impact on patient health care.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFThis paper introduces the concept of refractory spiritual suffering in the terminal patient, the factors that influence it, the possibility of their assessment and care approach emphasizing the role of nurse care to despair for identification and relief through the use of taxonomy NANDA-NOC-NIC (NNN). We conclude that it is necessary to incorporate into the care routine screening of spiritual suffering, assessment, prevention and interdisciplinary care. When direct care nursing developed aimed at improving levels of hope that the patient achieves his spiritual suffering terminal decline.
