Authors, based on objectives data of large incidence of acute Brucellosis in their job area in the last years, get in every patient coming in their Medicine Internal Department suffering from it through three years. They analyse mainly the epidemiological, clinic-biological and therapeutics aspects of this acute pathology. The epidemiological conclusions established on the objective analysis of the series issue make known great interest.

Investigation of the topography of duodenitis and its relationship to possible aetiological factors and to duodenal ulcer calls for a proper histological classification. Such a classification is proposed based on the subjective appearances and a quantitative examination of 747 fibreoptic biopsy specimens in a wide range of clinical conditions.

Long persisting antigenic stimulation at immunogenic levels leads to a profound inhibition of antibody formation. With , there is first a brief and high IgM response. IgG antibody titres remain at a low level for some days, and then begin a slow and progressive increase, leading to a rather persistent maximum, and finally after about 300 days, to the state of inhibition.

The presence or absence of intestinal metaplasia of the stomach was determined in 272 patients by direct vision biopsy of standardized intragastric sites using fiberoptic gastroscopy. Analysis of ABO blood groupings and Rhesus factor failed to reveal an association with metaplasia.
