Methods: An electronic search was performed on MEDLINE, Embase, Scopus, SciELO, LILACS, and CENTRAL. Animal studies using APC as a root filling material after pulpectomy in mature or immature teeth were included.
Purpose: To evaluate tilted trans-sinus implants for rehabilitation of the atrophic maxilla.
Materials And Methods: A case series of 35 patients (32 consecutive edentulous and 3 partially edentulous patients) treated with trans-sinus dental implants is presented. Edentulous patients received 4 or 6 implants depending on anatomic conditions and a 12-unit final restoration; partially edentulous patients received 2 implants supporting a 3-unit partial fixed bridge.

Materials And Methods: MEDLINE, EMBASE, and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials were searched using a combination of specific search terms. Furthermore, a hand searching of the relevant journals and of the bibliographies of reviews was performed.

The most frequent intraoperative complication with sinus elevation is perforation of the schneiderian membrane. In most instances, the repair of this perforation is necessary to contain particulate grafting material and complete the procedure. Method And Material: Sixty-two patients were enrolled in four clinical centers. Three hundred and twenty-five Osseotite implants were inserted and occlusally loaded according to an immediate loading protocol.
Immediate loading of dental implants can reduce treatment time and management concerns, thus increasing patient acceptance. This paper reports the authors' preliminary experience with partially edentulous patients having received non-occlusally loaded provisional restorations within 24 hours of surgery, compared to patients treated according to an early loading protocol. The present data suggest that implant supported fixed partial prostheses can be immediately non-occlusally loaded and restored with a predictability similar to early loaded implants.

Purpose: This article reports the preliminary data from a clinical study of immediately loaded, full-arch, screw-retained prosthesis with distal extensions (hybrid prosthesis) supported by Osseotite implants placed in the edentulous mandible.
Materials And Methods: Fifteen patients who received 103 implants were enrolled in this study. The first 2 patients received both immediately loaded and submerged implants, while the remaining patients had all implants immediately loaded.
