Unlabelled: People living with HIV (PLWH) continue to face stigma and discrimination during dental treatment in Brazil. This study aimed to describe the sociodemographic, educational and professional characteristics of dentists working in the Northern Brazilian region and to identify the level of knowledge of these health professionals in relation to the care and management of PLWH using a digital form.
Methods: This cross-sectional study was population-based among dentists and was conducted between July and December 2021.

Background: Gingival recession (GR) is described as an apical displacement of the gingival margin in relation to the cementoenamel junction, exposing the root surface to the oral cavity environment. This study aimed to evaluate the clinical results of a bilateral root coverage (RC) of GR associated with an autogenous connective tissue graft (aCTG) alone or combined with low-level laser therapy (aCTG + LLLT).
Methods: This cross-sectional, split-mouth, double-blind, clinical pilot study featured three individuals who attended a periodontics post-graduate program with the main complaint of GR and dental hypersensitivity (DHS).

Objective: To evaluate the association of HEMA and 10-MDP in the clinical performance of self-etching adhesives in the restoration of NCCLs during 2-years.
Materials And Methods: 60 restorations were performed in 17 volunteers and randomized into three groups: G1 (n = 20) - Prime and Bond Universal (10-MDP); G2 (n = 20) - Optibond All-in-One (HEMA); and G3 (n = 20) - Clearfil SE (10-MDP and HEMA). No cavity preparation was performed.
The aim of this study was to assess the bond strength of self-etching adhesives containing HEMA and 10-MDP monomers. Twenty-four bovine teeth were divided into three groups. Two cylinders of composite resin were made in each tooth ( = 16): G1-Prime and Bond Universal (control); G2-OptiBond All-in-One (HEMA); and G3-Clearfil SE (10-MDP and HEMA).

The authors aimed to conduct a systematic review to assess data from the current literature on the effectiveness of low-level laser therapy (LLLT) in preventing tooth sensitivity (TS) after tooth whitening (DB). PRISMA guidelines for systematic reviews were followed. Clinical trials evaluating the treatment of LLLT in patients with sensitivity after tooth whitening were selected.

Data: The PICO strategy was used to include randomized clinical trials in human subjects with DH (P) after NSPT treated with DA (I) compared to those treated with placebo or control (C) to identify DH relief (O). The Cochrane guidelines and GRADE was used to classify the risk of bias and the quality of the evidence, respectively.
Background: Dental bleaching has been increasingly sought out to improve dental aesthetics, but it may cause changes in dental enamel.
Objective: To assess the influence of different time intervals on bleaching gel applications with regard to the Microhardness (MH) and Surface Roughness (SR) on dental enamel.
Material And Methods: Forty bovine incisors were randomly divided into two groups (G1 and G2) and both were bleached with 35% Hydrogen Peroxide (HP35) (n=20; G1: seven-day interval and G2: two-day interval).
